Luke Cuneen (9 Purple) – National Netball Championships 

We’re thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of one of our students Luke Cuneen, who has been selected to represent Victoria in the 15 & Under Boys Netball Team at the School Sport Australia Games in Moreton Bay, Queensland, from July 26 to August 1.

This is a special milestone, as 2025 marks the first year that the 15/U boys netball division will feature at the national level. Over the week-long competition, the team will take on opponents from Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and the ACT—playing two games a day in a challenging round-robin format.

He will likely take the court in midcourt positions such as Centre, Wing Defence, and Wing Attack, contributing to a talented 12-player squad from across the state, including Wodonga, Gippsland, and metropolitan Melbourne. Weekly training is already underway at the State Netball and Hockey Centre, as the team prepares to fly out in late July.

Well done Luke, we’re incredibly proud of his hard work, determination, and the honour of representing both Victoria and our school in this national competition. We wish you all the best on the National stage.
