Athletics Day

On Friday the 1st of September, our annual School Athletics Day was held at Proclamation Park in Ringwood. The event brought together students for a day filled with energy, competition, and school spirit.

The weather was pleasant, creating the perfect conditions for both track and field events. Students from all year levels participated enthusiastically in a wide range of activities, including sprints, long-distance running, relays, long jump, high jump, discus, and shot put.

The atmosphere throughout the day was vibrant, with students showing great sportsmanship and cheering for their peers. House spirit was on full display, as student wore their colours proudly and competed for valuable points. Staff also played an important role in supervising events, recording results, encouraging participants and getting involved in a number of events.

The Athletics Day was a resounding success, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their talents, build resilience, and strengthen school pride. Congratulations to Monash house who took the chocolates on the day!

Further to Heathmont Athletics day, a group of students participated extremely well at Mullum Athletics. There were great results and representation across all age groups. Competing against 6 other Schools Heathmont can hold their head up high.
