On Monday 1st September, 60 of our Grade 3–6 students proudly represented Holy Spirit at the Ringwood District Athletics Carnival, held at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track in Burwood. The rain held off, and with eight schools from across the district competing, the atmosphere was electric! ⚡️
Our athletes gave it their all across the track and field, showing determination, courage and fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day. It was inspiring to see our students not only perform so well but also cheer loudly for one another, creating a true team spirit. ❤️💙
Holy Spirit achieved some outstanding results:
A number of our students also qualified for the upcoming Division Athletics Carnival:
Grade 4: Maya A & Raff N (Shot Put)
Grade 5: Ava S (100m, Shot Put & 4x100m Relay), Alicia H (Triple & 4x100m Relay), Summer M & Indie F (Discus), Aisha S (Shot Put), Annabelle T (4x100m Relay), Ollie C (800m & 1500m)
Grade 6: Maya S (Hurdle, 1500m & 4x100m Relay), Jessie B (Discus)
Good luck to you all at the next level of competition! 👏👏👏👏
A huge thank you to our staff and parent helpers who supported on the day, and congratulations to all our athletes for representing Holy Spirit with such pride, effort and enthusiasm. You should be very proud of your achievements! 🎉
