Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse
Dear Parents, Guardians and Father Arsenio,
I will be absent over the next two weeks or so as I am attending a Pilgrimage with my principal colleagues in Italy. We are travelling in the footsteps of the saints to commemorate this year of Jubilee. I am looking forward to sharing my learnings with our community upon my return. Kayla will be the principal in my absence.
Our Art Show is coming together nicely. I am appreciative of the work undertaken by Sarah DeJong who set things up before her leave and Ruby Lowe who has followed it up to bring you what you will see on Thursday night. There has been a number of staff involved as well who have assisted via a working party. I am sure Ruby will mention them on Thursday.
You will be receiving notification about completeing the annual perceptions survey about our school called MACSIS. I would be most appreciative if you could take the time to complete this. It is a really helpful way to determine exactly what we are doing well and what we can still improve upon.
Thanks to Corinne who has been overseeing the Mural to celebrate this year of Jubilee. Donations can still be made to assist in the construction of it. My thanks to the families who have already contributed.
Best wishes,
Duncan
