Year 1/2 Scienceworks Excursion
Students inYears 1 and 2 recently attended an exciting excursion to Scienceworks.
As part of our Term 3 Inquiry Unit, How is our world and our lives affected by the weather?, this experience supported students' learning about weather and the natural world.
The highlight was a 30-minute show in the Lightning Room, exploring how water, air, and heat create lightning, rainbows, clouds, and rain.
The day was a valuable and engaging experience that extends our classroom learning in a fun, real-world setting.
Gardiners District Athletics
Last Friday, 12th September, Camelot Rise proudly took a team of 51 students to compete in the Gardiners District Athletics Carnival, held at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track.
Our students performed exceptionally well across all events, giving their best efforts and displaying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. As always, the behaviour and
attitude of our students were exemplary and reflected the values of our school.
Congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the Monash Waverley Division Athletics Carnival, to be held in Term 4 on Wednesday, 8th October, once again at Bill Sewart Athletics Track.

Foundation students visit Myuna Farm
Foundation students had an incredible time at Myuna Farm. They learnt about living things and how animals can provide us with different materials.
The students got to milk a goat, go on a train ride, feed a variety of farm animals, see a range of baby animals and explore the community garden!
Year 5/6 Mini Fete preparation
Year 5/6 students are having fun preparing for their Mini Fete to be held next term! They have to decide how to advertise, work on a budget and what they will sell to make a profit! The mini fete will be held on Thursday 23rd October. More details to come!
Maths in Foundation
Foundation students enjoyed "buying" colouring sheets from Year 6 students while learning about money. A shop was set up in the canteen for purchasing!
