Father's Day Breakfast
This morning's Father's Day Breakfast was a great success, with lots of dads and special people joining with the kids to celebrate the important men in our families. Once again the hall looked absolutely fantastic and the variety of yummy food didn't last long! We were lucky to have Team Kids join us to provide a craft activity for the students, so many lucky dads will have a handmade surprise on Sunday.
Thank you to everyone who helped out to make this event such a success, particularly Adele Karmy who took on the bulk of the organisational role at the last minute. Also a big thank you to those wonderful people who volunteered to help on Thursday with set up and Friday morning before, during and after the event. Without your support we could never run this event, so thank you for your time and efforts.
Year 4 Cakes for a Cause
It's only one week from our next cake stall, and this time Year 4 are in charge!! After the success of our last stall, we are going to permanently alter the arrangements so that children will shop in their classes during school hours using cash-only, and then the stall will remain open from 3:30-3:45pm for parents to shop using cash or EFTPOS. We will also have full cakes available after school for parents to purchase.
Footy Colours BBQ
As part of our celebration of the last day of Term 3 and the end of the footy season, we will once again hold our Footy Colours BBQ on Friday, Week 9. Students are invited to come to school in the colours of their footy team, and will have a sausage sizzle for lunch. This event is covered under the PA levy payable in your school fees. If you have not yet had a chance to pay please do, so that we can continue to provide these events for our kids.
