Wellbeing / Respectful Relationships Week
Last week, we celebrated our annual Wellbeing / Respectful Relationships Week. Our Year 6 Leaders partnered with the SWPBS/Wellbeing Team to create fun lunchtime activities that encouraged cooperation, friendship and inclusion.Prep B Bee Kind Display: Bullying No Way P-2 Classroom Activity.
On Wednesday, the whole school enjoyed a special performance of Being Brave by Brainstorm Productions. Developed in consultation with teachers and psychologists, the play combines song, dance, and storytelling to share positive coping strategies with students.
Being Brave is designed to complement our existing wellbeing programs and extend classroom learning. It inspires children to face challenges with courage and compassion, while reminding them of the importance of seeking help when needed.
Other important topics were also explored throughout the week, including Consent Education and the importance of being an Upstander, aligned with the Bullying No Way! theme: Be Bold. Be Kind. Speak Up.
