Kindy Red had so much fun becoming “sharing experts” in maths! Using counters and hands-on materials, they worked together to make equal groups, carefully sharing items so everyone had the same amount. There were lots of thoughtful discussions, counting, and checking to make sure their groups were fair. It was wonderful to see their teamwork and problem-solving skills shine as they discovered that sharing equally means everyone gets a fair go!

Year 2 Pink have been busy becoming little mathematicians as they experimented with making new shapes using 2D shapes. Students explored how simple shapes can be combined, rotated, flipped, and rearranged to create entirely new designs.
Through hands‑on activities and playful problem‑solving, they discovered how shapes fit together, how patterns form, and how creativity and mathematics go hand in hand. The room was filled with excitement as students built animals, buildings, patterns, and imaginative creations all from familiar 2D shapes.

Each week in Primary, we proudly recognise students who have shown exceptional effort, kindness, and commitment to our College values. These weekly awards highlight moments of growth whether it’s trying their best in learning, demonstrating respect and responsibility, or contributing positively to their classmates and teachers. We congratulate all of our award recipients and commend every student for the enthusiasm and pride they bring to their learning each day. Their achievements remind us of the wonderful things that happen when we learn, grow, and shine together.
Our 1 Green and 6 Emerald buddies came together this week for a heart‑warming Mother’s Day activity. Working side by side, students designed and created special Mother’s Day cards filled with colour, creativity, and thoughtful messages.
The older students supported their younger buddies with care and encouragement, while the younger students brought enthusiasm and bright ideas to their designs. It was a beautiful display of teamwork, friendship, and gratitude as they prepared something meaningful for the special women in their lives.

Highlights from our Live Museum!
A snapshot of an incredible day showcasing the creativity, confidence, and passion of our MCHF secondary students as they brought history to life. From ancient civilisations to modern history, these student‑made artefacts tell powerful stories of the past and new ways to learn from it.

Our College was filled with excitement and imagination this term as students from K–6 enjoyed our annual Book Fair. The Fair created a vibrant atmosphere of curiosity and discovery, with students exploring new stories, favourite authors, and a wide range of engaging titles. It was wonderful to see so many children selecting books that spark their interests and support a love of reading.
The Book Fair also provided families with the opportunity to browse and purchase quality literature while supporting our College’s literacy programs. We thank our dedicated staff and volunteers for creating such an inviting and joyful experience for our students.
Events like these remind us of the power of reading to inspire, connect, and open new worlds. We look forward to another successful Book Fair next year.
