Year 9-12 Drama students attended an excursion today where they watched A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was a fantastic and engaging performance that the students enjoyed immensely.

We are incredibly proud of Mary Semaan (Year 10), who has achieved outstanding success in the 2026 Rostrum Voice of Youth Public Speaking Competition.
Earlier this year, Mary won Round 1, securing her place at the Regional Final (North‑West Metropolitan Region), hosted by James Ruse Agricultural High School — and she certainly made it count!
At the Regional Final, Mary delivered an 8‑minute prepared speech, and a short‑notice speech with just 15 minutes’ preparation.
Competing against students from Mount St Benedict College, Penrith High School, Tara Anglican School for Girls, Riverview and Montgrove College, Mary was a standout. Of the three short‑notice topics, she was the only competitor to choose “Tangled in a Web”, delivering a performance that was breath‑taking, funny, articulate and confident.
The judges were unanimous in their praise, with the Head Judge noting that Mary has a strong chance at State level.
As a result, Mary has now qualified for the NSW State Final, to be held on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Wenona School, North Sydney.
Mary represents our College with humility, grace and excellence. A true credit to herself, her family and our community, and as a bonus, one judge even declared her uniform “the best of the night” 😉 Sister will be pleased!
Please join us in congratulating Mary — and keep an eye out for photos and footage celebrating this wonderful achievement.

Today, our Year 2 students visited the OLOL Seniors to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was a lovely opportunity to share kindness, laughter and conversation across generations. The students enjoyed spending time with the residents and helping make the day special

Year 11 students Jonah Botros, Grace Ghabache and Maria Elias represented the College for 2026 in the innovative youth leadership programme Max Potential, a unique scholarship programme designed to help students grow in leadership and potential. The students, along with the support of their own dedicated coach, will take part in various workshops and coaching while they set work on goals to create a community service project that makes a real difference for the broader community. We look forward to what the students will come up with and wait to see what initiatives they will develop.

On Tuesday, 12 May, Billy Tadros of Year 12 participated in the “Surveying Unleashed” event, organised by Surveying Careers. This valuable experience provided Billy with the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, ask insightful questions, and explore the wide range of opportunities within the surveying profession.
The event offered meaningful insight into the diverse career pathways, emerging technologies, and real-world projects that make surveying a dynamic and rewarding field. We hope this experience has inspired Billy as he considers his future study and career options.

Our Year 12 students enjoyed a fantastic evening at the 2026 Senior Games Night, bringing energy, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition to the College. The night was filled with laughter, spirited challenges, and memorable moments as students came together to unwind, connect, and celebrate their final year of schooling. From fast‑paced games to collaborative activities, the event highlighted the strong bonds within the cohort and the positive spirit they bring to our community.
We thank our staff for their support and organisation, and congratulate Year 12 on making the night such a fun and engaging success. We look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate this wonderful group throughout their final year
Our Year 6 students recently returned from an unforgettable educational adventure to Canberra, where they explored Australia’s capital and deepened their understanding of civics, democracy, and national history. Over several days, students visited key national institutions, participated in hands‑on learning experiences, and represented the College with maturity, curiosity, and pride.
Highlights of the trip included tours of Parliament House, the Museum of Australian Democracy, and the Australian War Memorial, where students engaged with Australia’s democratic processes and reflected on the stories of service and sacrifice that have shaped our nation. Students also enjoyed interactive sessions at Questacon, sparking excitement and wonder through science and technology.
Beyond the educational experiences, the trip provided valuable opportunities for teamwork, independence, and friendship. Our students demonstrated excellent behaviour throughout the excursion and were wonderful ambassadors for the College.
We extend our thanks to the dedicated staff who accompanied the students and ensured a safe, enriching, and memorable experience for all.
