Congratulations to our wonderful Year 4 students who celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday 16 May. It was a joyful and sacred milestone as the children received Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time, surrounded by the love and prayers of their families and our College community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this special celebration, including Sr Rita, Ms Angel Dagher, our Year 4 teachers, Arabic teachers, support staff, admin staff, our dedicated altar servers, the choir, and all who assisted in any way. Your care, preparation, and service helped create a truly memorable and faith‑filled occasion.
May God bless the children and their families as they continue to grow in faith, love, and communion with Christ.

One Silver went on a beautiful, faith‑filled adventure this week as they explored the story of Jesus’ Ascension in the Bible. Students reflected on what it means for Jesus to return to the Father and promise the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Through storytelling, discussion, and hands‑on activities, they discovered how the Ascension reminds us that Jesus is always with us, guiding us and calling us to share His love with others. It was a joyful and meaningful learning experience that deepened their understanding of this important moment in our faith.
On Saturday morning our students and staff took the time to feed the homeless. We were blessed to have been able to support such a vital lifeline in the community.

During this special Month of Mary, students from 2 Pink and 2 Jade gathered in prayer to honour Our Blessed Mother by praying a decade of the Rosary. With quiet reverence and beautiful focus, the children reflected on Mary’s love, faith, and example, learning how the Rosary helps us grow closer to Jesus.
It was a peaceful and meaningful moment of faith, reminding our students of the importance of prayer, reflection, and devotion within our Maronite Catholic tradition.

Our College community came together to honour and celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who enrich the lives of our students each day. The morning began with a beautiful Mother’s Day Mass, where families joined in prayer and reflection, giving thanks for the love, strength, and guidance that mothers provide.
Following the Mass, parents and carers were invited to a morning tea, creating a wonderful opportunity for connection, conversation, and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr Alam from Pain Free Dentistry, who generously presented to our parents during the event. His contribution was greatly appreciated and added a valuable dimension to the morning.
We thank all families who joined us in celebrating this special occasion. May God continue to bless all mothers and mother figures in our community with joy, peace, and abundant love.
