Cross Country Carnival 

Oh what a run!

On Tuesday 24th March, we held the annual Cross Country carnival here at our school during sport lessons under the supervision of HFL staff and myself. Thanks to the wonderful parents who came along to help out all day. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to the children for their excellent sportsmanship, determination and persistence during the races. Parents should be proud of their children for their efforts. We sent each child home with a Participation ribbon in acknowledgement of this.

As discussed with the children over the past few weeks, we have collated the data from this carnival as well as the multiple beep tests I have conducted during sports lessons, in order to determine the placegetters and then our Zone team representatives. This is to ensure a fair and equitable process given the challenges of running the carnival under wet weather regulations. 

Place getters in each age group will be announced at the morning assembly next Wednesday, as well as our Representative Team.
