Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,
Wedding News – Congratulations Mr Clarke
We are delighted to share some wonderful news from our school community. Our much‑loved Year 5 teacher, Mr Jack Clarke, will be marrying Jane this Saturday. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish them a lifetime filled with love and happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
Following the celebrations, Jack will enjoy a well‑earned honeymoon and will return to school next term. We know you’ll join us in sending Jack and Jane our very best wishes and warmest congratulations.
P&F Trivia Night – A Wonderful Evening of Fun
Last Saturday evening, our school community enjoyed a fantastic P&F Trivia Night filled with fun and a wonderful sense of togetherness. It was delightful to see so many parents come along, join in the friendly competition (somewhat), and showcase their impressive range of knowledge and talents.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Esther Touma and the dedicated Year 4 parent team for their outstanding organisation. Their hard work and attention to detail ensured the event ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all. We are also incredibly grateful for the generous donations sent in prior to the event. These contributions added to the excitement of the evening and supported the success of the night.
Throughout the evening, teams worked together to answer questions across a wide variety of topics and the friendly (and sometimes serious) competition created a lively atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who joined a table or brought friends along. The BYO food and drink approach helped create a relaxed, social environment that encouraged conversation and community spirit. Many thanks to Olivia for taking the sensational photos. Sincere thanks to all who contributed to making the P&F Trivia Night such an enjoyable and successful event. We look forward to many more opportunities to gather and celebrate as a school community.
Holy Family School Behaviour & Management Plan
I would like to share an update on the important work currently underway at Holy Family regarding our School Behaviour & Management Plan. Over the past several weeks, our staff have been deeply engaged in Professional Learning focused on strengthening our whole-school approach to student wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement.
Teachers and support staff have been collaborating to review our current practices, refine expectations, and ensure consistency across all learning spaces. This work is grounded in our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where every child can learn and flourish.
This is ongoing work and will continue to develop throughout Term 2. As we move forward, the guidance and partnership of CSBB, along with the support of our parents, staff, After School Care Educators, and of course our students, will be essential. Together, we will strengthen a shared understanding of behaviour expectations and promote the values that make Holy Family such a nurturing and welcoming community. I look forward to keeping you updated as this important work progresses.
