Round 5 Recap

It was a successful round against Wesley, with 4 out of the 5 first teams all having convincing wins. Most notable was the 1st VIII Tennis team, who defeated a very strong Wesley team 15-9 to place them equal top of the ladder as we near the halfway stage of the season. Our Rowers were also successful in the Guildford regatta, with the 1st VIII crew, as well as the entire Trinity Rowing team making it two for two to start the Rowing season.

Across both the middle and senior school fixtures Trinity had a winning percentage of almost 70 percent. Notable performances came from both our Year 9 and Year 7 basketball teams that did not have a loss in any of their games. Our 2nd’s Cricket team posted a mammoth 271 from their 50 overs to convincingly defeat Wesley’s 2nds, our Middle school A to D Volleyball teams all winning either 3-0 or 3-1, and 3rds Tennis had a hard fought 13-11 win against Wesley.
