Junior School

Dear Parents

We are delighted to share that Lucas Cowton will be in the upcoming state golf championships. We extend our heartfelt wishes for his success in this endeavour.

Reflecting on the journey ahead, I recall a wise analogy shared by Alex Paljetak today: “When you sprint the 100m in the Olympics or even run a marathon, do you quit or give up before the finish line?”

As we have two full weeks of school remaining, let’s collaborate to ensure our students don’t reach the metaphorical finish line prematurely. Maintaining exemplary behaviour, displaying wonderful manners, and fostering respect are vital aspects of this collective effort.

In light of recent trends, where ‘roasting’ may seem amusing initially, it’s important to note that recipients seldom express appreciation for such encounters. Let’s work together to discourage this behaviour and avoid normalising it within our school community.

Your continued support is invaluable, and we appreciate your commitment to fostering a positive and respectful environment for all.

Year 5 Italian

Year 5 Italian classes celebrated an early Christmas with their la Befana inspired cooking painting activity. Students in Signora Rosso’s class got into the Christmas spirit by rolling out their own fondant, applying it to their cookies, painting assorted Italian Christmas symbols and then the best part, eating it!

Buon Natale! – Merry Christmas from the entire Year 5 group.
