日本語 Japanese

Konnichiwa from Japanese classs! Hope you had a great holiday and are ready to start this big term. I displayed some Calligraphy work we have done in the last few weeks of Term 2. Students experienced Japanese Calligraphy and expanded their knowledge of calligraphy techniques last term. Students wrote Kanji for winter 冬 (fuyu) and learned the rules of how the words should be written with a brush and ink.
We also plan to organise the second Japanese Fun Day in the last week of this term. We had a great success last year, and I would like to inform you well in advance this year. It is going to be on the 16th of September, Tuesday. We will have the Japanese Drum (taiko) incursion again and the costume parade first in the morning. You might want to stay and watch them if you have time in the morning.
Have a lovely weekend!
