Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden 2025    

Wow, it's almost the end of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program for 2025.  Each of the five 3/4 classes have had a total of seven weeks each.  With the last week for 3/4 K being next week.  

What I love most about the program is seeing how much the students progress in confidence over the seven weeks.  They master using a knife to cut some very hard vegetables and they grow in their maturity to try something they haven't tried before.  It is so nice to hear them say “this tastes better than I thought it would”.  We hope that the program gives them the opportunity and experience to try new things as well as fostering a love and appreciation for eating fresh, seasonal foods.  

Thank you to Greg (Ella’s Dad), Aaron and Alisha (Pia’s Dad and Mum) for consistently helping us with 3/4K. We have loved having you there to share in the laughs and help the students.  Over the year we have had many parents give up their time to come and support the children and this program.  We could not do it without you!
