Congratulations to our talented Year 5 students — Nat, Lilly, Cici, Alice, Arada, Zara, Pip, Ava, Cidalia, Mikayla, Anne, and Kaitlyn!
They’ve been selected to take part in a special Christmas project for Westfield Knox. As part of this exciting opportunity, they designed and created their very own Christmas tree and star, complete with an original festive story to accompany their display...
"Saving Christmas" – By Year 5 Students, Karoo Primary School
This delightful artwork was created by a group of talented Year 5 students from Karoo Primary School, Rowville. Together, they decided to tell a joyful Christmas story through their art. As Santa flies across the night sky delivering gifts, excited children hang their stockings by the fire in anticipation. But disaster strikes — Santa crashes into the Christmas tree! With presents tangled among the branches, his loyal elves rush to save Christmas. Bursting with colour, imagination, and festive cheer, this artwork celebrates teamwork, creativity, and the magic of the holiday season.

You can already see their wonderful work showcased at Knox Shopping Centre, outside Pandora on Level 2 — be sure to check it out and feel the Christmas spirit!

What a fantastic turnout at the Karoo (Art) Zoo! It was amazing to see so many families exploring the wild world of our students’ art. Their creativity and talent roared to life through each animal-themed masterpiece — we couldn’t be prouder!

A huge well done to our choir for doing such a fantastic job at the Karoo Karnival! Your performances of “Best Day of My Life” and “Hall of Fame” were absolutely brilliant. It was wonderful to share our music and entertain everyone who came to enjoy the festivities.
