Year 7 Orientation

We loved meeting our upcoming Year 7 cohort at Orientation Day on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th December. The two days were a huge success, with students getting a taste of life as an Oberon student.
Across the program, students sampled a range of subjects, met their new classmates, and explored the school while the rest of the year levels were away on excursions. At the end of the second day all students left with a photo list of the students in their new class.
We really appreciate the effort from all staff and students in creating such a memorable and welcoming experience. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to get to know their classmates and teachers.
A reminder that families are welcome to purchase the combination lock and pick it up this year, giving our new Year 7s more time to practise over the holidays.
The transition process does not finish here. Students will spend the first two days of next year getting to know the school, learning how to read a timetable, opening their locks, and setting up their devices.
