Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

What a wonderful and busy few weeks we have had at St Patrick’s! As we reach the end of Week 6 of Term 3, it has been fantastic to see our students continuing to embrace their learning, participate enthusiastically in school activities and demonstrate our school values in so many ways. From celebrating Book Week and Science Week to the wonderful engagement we are seeing through Playgroup with Abby, there is certainly plenty happening across our school community. We also have some exciting events coming up, including swimming week and our Marvellous Men celebrations, and I look forward to sharing these special moments with our students and families. Thank you to our staff, students and families for the energy, support and enthusiasm you continue to bring to our school each day.

Celebrating Book Week! 📚✨

What a wonderful day of celebrating books, reading and our favourite characters! Students enjoyed our much-anticipated Book Week Parade, proudly showcasing their fantastic costumes before taking part in a range of engaging multi-age rotation activities throughout the day. It was wonderful to see students across all year levels working together, sharing their love of books and enjoying some creative and fun learning experiences.

The staff certainly embraced the spirit of the day too, with our teachers transforming into a rather large group of Dalmatian puppies, while I took on the role of the fabulous and slightly mischievous Cruella de Vil! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Book Week such a fun and memorable celebration at St Patrick’s.

Celebrating Science Week! 🔬🧪

Science Week was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore, question, predict and discover! Across the school, students participated in a range of engaging hands-on experiments, developing their curiosity and thinking skills as they investigated scientific concepts in fun and practical ways. There was plenty of excitement as students made predictions, tested their ideas and observed the results of their experiments. We encourage families to head over to our Facebook page, where you can see some of the fantastic experiments our students conducted throughout the week. A big thank you to our staff for creating such engaging learning experiences and inspiring our students to think like scientists!

Playgroup with Abby 🌟

Our Playgroup with Abby continues to be a wonderful success, with outstanding attendance and participation from our families. It has been fantastic to see our youngest learners and their families regularly joining us, building friendships, developing confidence and enjoying a range of fun, engaging activities together. The enthusiasm and energy each week has created a wonderful sense of community and connection. A huge thank you to Abby for her commitment and for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable playgroup experience for our families. We look forward to seeing Playgroup with Abby continue to grow!

Celebrating the Marvellous Men in Our Lives! 🏉💙

We are looking forward to celebrating the marvellous men in our lives with a number of special events next week! On Thursday 3 September, students will have the opportunity to purchase a special gift from our stall. Students can start bringing their cash to school and give it to Andy, they will then receive their voucher to spend on the day of the stall. It would be fantastic if all students had their money to the office by Monday 31st August in preparation for the stall but please remember, students can bring a maximum of $10.

Everyone is encouraged to get into the spirit of the day by dressing in the colours of their favourite sporting team. We look forward to welcoming our families and celebrating the wonderful men who make such a positive difference in the lives of our students!
