Division Netball
Congratulations to all three of our teams who represented the school at the Division Netball competition last week. Every student should be proud of the effort they put in throughout the day. For several students, this was their first experience playing netball in a competitive setting, and it was wonderful to see them embrace the opportunity, develop their skills and gain confidence with each game. The day provided many valuable experiences, and it was pleasing to see all students enjoy their involvement.
A special congratulations to our boys team, who had an excellent tournament and finished as runners-up after a strong performance in the grand final. Thank you to everyone who came along to support our teams throughout the day and to our volunteers who refereed. Thanks also to Ms Sullivan and Ms Cooper for coaching and guiding our students, and for the time and effort they contributed to making the day such a success.
Planning week
Just a reminder that students need to bring along their P.E. shoes on their specialist day this week (a modified timetable):
Monday – Grade 5/6
Tuesday – Grade 1 and Grade 3
Wednesday – Grade 4
Thursday – Prep and Grade 2
What to bring to P.E.
Just a reminder for all students to bring with them their P.E. shoes, drink bottle (and hats in Term 1+4) to their P.E. classes. As the weather is starting to get a little wetter, a different pair of sports shoes need to be brought (not worn) to P.E. as per the uniform policy. This allows us to keep safe, look after our gym and make the most of our lessons together. Thanks to everyone who continues to remember these.
