Attendance Reminder

As we approach the end of term, we ask families to please take a moment to check Compass for any unexplained student absences.

If your child has any absences showing as unexplained, please add an attendance note through Compass as soon as possible, or give the office a call. Ensuring absences are explained helps us maintain accurate attendance records and meet Department of Education requirements.

Bunjil Awards

Bunjil awards recognise student achievement and those who display our school values of being respectful, responsible and kind. Well done! All of our weekly winners enjoyed a hot chocolate or zooper dooper with a principal. This process is always a great chance for us to hear from the kids and ask them some questions about our school. 

Buy a Beanie - Wear One for Type 1 Diabetes

One of our students, Polly, is helping make a difference for children and families living with Type 1 Diabetes by hosting a beanie fundraiser at school next week. Inspired by her younger brother's experience of living with Type 1 Diabetes, Polly has taken the initiative to support other children and families affected by the condition.

The Type 1 Foundation "Wear One" beanies will be available for purchase before and after school on Wednesday 24 June, with a range of styles available for $29.95 each. One hundred percent of proceeds support the Type 1 Foundation, helping to fund support packages, camps, family fun days and counselling services for children and families living with Type 1 Diabetes.

We're incredibly proud of Polly for taking the initiative to raise awareness and support such an important cause. If you're looking for a warm beanie this winter while supporting a great cause, be sure to stop by and say hello!
