We encourage our community to come along and support the incredible efforts of our students and staff. It promises to be a wonderful celebration of the Arts at our College.
Our Junior Strings ensemble delivered a wonderful performance at this morning’s Primary Champagnat Awards Assembly. It has been a fantastic year of music-making so far for this group, who continue to grow in confidence and musicality.
Following their impressive performance at the Cathedral Concert earlier this term, the ensemble once again delighted the audience today with a rendition of the well-known favourite, “Cap’n Jack’s Hornpipe.”
Thank you to Catherine Wasserman for her dedicated work directing the ensemble, along with Melanie Stewart for her accompaniment, and Matthew Sorensen for his valued support. We look forward to seeing what the Junior Strings achieve next as the year continues.

Students in Years 5–7 who are interested in forming a rock group and auditioning for the Term 3 Battle of the Bands are invited to attend an information meeting.
Please come along to the Music Centre at Break 1 (11:20am) this Thursday to find out more about how to get involved.
We look forward to seeing plenty of enthusiastic musicians there!
