Arts Amplified Showcase

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my amazing Arts & Technology Department for all your hard work in making the ARTS AMPLIFIED SHOWCASE such a huge success!!!

An event like this doesn’t happen without an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. Arts Amplified has taken months of planning, preparation, collecting and curating student work, organising performances, coordinating logistics, and many, many hours of event planning and structural organisation. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

The evening was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creativity, talent, skills and hard work of our students across the Arts and Technology, and I feel incredibly proud of what our department has achieved together.

Thank you for preparing and supporting our students in Music and for helping them feel confident and ready to perform on the night. Your work with our students throughout the year made the performances possible.

Food Technology – Milly Ellen

Thank you for preparing and serving the delicious food on the night. It was clearly a hit — almost all of the food was eaten! Thank you for showcasing the wonderful skills of our Food Technology students. A special thank you also to Melita, Melinda and Aliesha for cooking food with their students.

Coffee Cart – Jo Knox & our Vocational Major students 

Thank you for keeping everyone caffeinated and for providing such a great addition to the evening. Your contribution helped create such a welcoming atmosphere.

Art Team – Chrissy Lomagno, Laura Higgins, Adam Cochrane, Claire Mangs, Peter Preston & Sam Florence 

A huge thank you to Chrissy for leading the organisation of the Arts display and for staying on the night to speak with parents and celebrate our students' work. Thank you to Laura, Adam, Claire, Peter and Sam for all the work you have done with your students to produce and prepare the incredible artwork on display.

Drama – Richard Muranty 

Thank you to Richard for preparing his student for the Drama monologue and supporting them to confidently showcase their talent on the night.

Maintenance Team – Ken, Robert & Boyd

Thank you for all your work setting up and packing down the venue. Your contribution behind the scenes was essential in making the event possible.

Thank you to Rachel for managing room changes and all the other logistics that came with transforming the college spaces for the evening.

Thank you for supporting and allowing the Arts Amplified Showcase to take place, and for your continued encouragement of the Arts and Technology at our school. Your ongoing support and your willingness to be present at our events is encouraging to both our staff and students. It sends a positive message to our students that their creativity, talents and achievements are valued and seen. We truly appreciate the time you give to celebrate with us.

Finally, thank you, ARTS TECH TEAM, for your hard work, your commitment and for everything you do to support our students and help them shine. Arts Amplified was a true celebration of our department, our students and our staff. We are so lucky to have such a talented team, and this event was a wonderful reminder of the amazing things we can achieve when we work together. What an amazing night. I hope you are all as proud of it as I am!
