Say No to Bullying Week

This term our Year 7 students have been taking part in a series of important bullying prevention presentations delivered by our Wellbeing Team. Across three weeks, students have explored what bullying is, why some people may bully others, and, importantly, how to recognise when help is needed and where to access support.

A wonderful outcome of these sessions has been the opportunity for students to build strong, positive connections with our Wellbeing Team. Knowing who to turn to and feeling comfortable asking for help is an important part of creating a safe and supportive school community.

On Friday 21 August, our school community came together for Say No to Bullying Day. Students made pledges to stand up against bullying, created positive messages through colourful chalk drawings, and enjoyed guessing the number of lollies in our lolly jar.

A big congratulations to Zoe in Year 7, who made the closest guess and won the lolly jar!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day a positive reminder that we all have a role to play in creating a kind, inclusive and respectful school.

Remember: Be Kind, Stand Up and Seek Help if Needed.
