Legally Blonde – The Musical - Opening Soon!

🎭 PVCC’s much-anticipated secondary production, Legally Blonde The Musical, is just around the corner—and we invite you to join us for an uplifting and entertaining experience that showcases the gifts and dedication of our students.

🗓️ Performance Dates:

Thursday 12th – Saturday 15th August

📍 Venue: Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre

With nearly 70 students from Years 7 to 12 involved as cast, crew, and musicians, this vibrant production is a true reflection of our college’s commitment to nurturing creativity, collaboration, and character. The story follows Elle Woods, a young woman who challenges expectations and discovers her purpose through perseverance, courage, and self-belief, reminding us that each person is uniquely gifted by God and called to make a difference.

🎶 The show features a talented cast supported by a live 17-piece band, bringing to life the musical’s catchy songs and energetic choreography. It’s a joyful celebration of the performing arts and the power of community.

After months of preparation and hard work, our students and staff are excited to share this production with the PVCC community. Your presence and encouragement are deeply valued—come and support our young performers as they shine their light on stage.

✨ Let’s celebrate the creativity God has placed in each of us. We look forward to welcoming you to the show!

Content Note

Legally Blonde: The Musical is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film. While lively and entertaining, it also touches on some complex and mature themes.

At Plenty Valley Christian College, we recognise parents as the primary educators of their children and value our role as partners in that journey. With this in mind, we consider a PG (Parental Guidance recommended for persons under 15 years) rating appropriate for this production.

Farewell gift for Crossing Supervisor Ken

Earlier this year our former Crossing Supervisor Ken retired after a number of years serving our community faithfully. Ken prided himself in knowing so many students names and was treasured by many families throughout our college.

Recently Ken collected a farewell gift from the College, including a camp chair for him to relax in now he's retired, along with a special framed artwork. This artwork is made from leaf shapes that were beautifully coloured by the Early Years students and is accompanied by a bible verse and was gratefully received by Ken. He wishes all our families well and we are praying blessing over him and his family in this next chapter of his life.
