Italian Feast Day

Ciao everyone!

What an amazing day we had celebrating all the hard work we've put into Italian this year! 

We had so many kids dress up in Italian themes. From all the Mario and Luigi's, to pizza and pasta - the kids did so well with their dress ups. 

We started our day with some Italian activities, followed by our yummy pizza slices and gelato (a big thank you to King Costello's!). 

We laughed and danced throughout the 'Ciao Italy' performance during the middle block. Emilio entertained us all with his immigration story and information about Italy, which ended with our whole school dancing the tarantella!

We finished off our day with everyone creating beautiful venetian masks. 

A big congratulations to our Italian costume prize winners - Greyson Prep C, Ronnie 2H and Alex in 1J (a big shout out to gelato UONO for donating the gelato vouchers!). 

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped. The kids had such a great time.
