The Sun Shone Brightly for our Wholeschool Cross Country Day

Last Monday, David McFarlan Reserve came alive with an incredible display of challenge, competition, and fantastic house spirit for our Prep to Year 6 Cross Country Day. Our students were so impressive, showing immense resilience and refusing to give up despite the long distances.

A major day like this simply cannot happen without the generosity of our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to the many parents, grandparents, and school community helpers who stepped up to hand out ribbons, marshall checkpoints, set up the officials shelter and course, record results and cook the sausages. We are incredibly grateful for your time and support!

The competition was tight this year, but a massive congratulations goes to MANNIX HOUSE, who took out the title by just 25 points! This victory was a true team effort, boosted by student participation, Spirit Awards and the legendary Parent Race at the end of the day. Well done to all of our Year 6 Mannix House Captains!

We are also thrilled for the many students from Years 3 to 6 who finished in the top eight for their age groups, qualifying for the Phillip District Cross Country. We wish them the absolute best of luck as they represent St Joseph's School at Tootgarook Reserve this Wednesday, 20th May.

Enjoy the photos below showcasing our fun, colourful, and spirit-filled day!
