From The REC

Loving God,
We thank you for the gift of a new term.
As we return to school,
bless our community with renewed energy, curiosity, and kindness.
Open our hearts to new learning and our minds to the needs of others.
Guide our teachers and help us to shine your light through our actions each day.
We ask this in Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Catholic School's Week - Week 6
We are looking forward to a wonderful Week 6 as we join schools across the Armidale Diocese to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme, “Hope-Filled Future”, encourages us to look ahead with hope and faith, recognising the gifts, talents and potential of every student in our community.
This theme strongly reflects the mission of St Francis Xavier's Primary School as we guide and inspire our students to become future leaders, compassionate citizens and lifelong learners. Throughout the week, we will celebrate the learning, faith and community spirit that make our school so special through a range of activities and events. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared commitment to nurturing students who step confidently into the future with faith, kindness and hope.

Project Compassion ~ Funds Raised
Last term, our school focused on raising money for Project Compassion. Project Compassion helps provide vulnerable communities around the world with access to essentials such as clean water, food security, education, healthcare, and opportunities to build sustainable futures. Through the work of Caritas Australia, donations support people experiencing poverty, homelessness, natural disasters, and injustice, helping communities create long-term positive change.
From our St Patrick’s Day dress-up day, St Patrick’s Day cake stall, last day of Term 1 mufti day, as well as donations collected through the Project Compassion boxes, our school raised an amazing $1609.15!
Thank you to our families and school community for your generosity and support in helping make this year’s fundraising efforts such a success!
