A Season to Remember
What a wonderful weekend of grand finals to close out our College hockey season! Congratulations to our A Grade Women and U16s, who both claimed premierships in outstanding fashion. Their skill, composure and team spirit were a credit to everyone involved in the program.
We are equally proud of our U10s and U13 teams, who each fought their way through to their respective grand finals. Reaching a grand final is no small feat, and both teams should hold their heads high after a fantastic campaign.
Across every grade, this has been a season defined by outstanding hockey and, just as importantly, outstanding sportsmanship. Watching our students compete with skill, resilience and respect for their opponents has been a genuine highlight of the school calendar.
None of this happens without a great deal of behind-the-scenes work. Our sincere thanks go to Mr Nelson, Dr Hawthorne, Doug Cameron, Liz Mecham, Sophie Spence, and Georgia Adams for their tireless efforts in ensuring the season ran smoothly from start to finish.
We would also like to thank all of our parents, team managers, umpires and coaches. Your support, generosity of time and encouragement on the sidelines are the foundation this season was built on — the hockey program simply would not happen without you.
It has been a privilege to be part of such a special community this season.
