Celebrating 12 Years of Stars

12 months of connection, growth and achievement — what a milestone to celebrate!

Stars were thrilled to mark the first anniversary of the Narrandera High school Stars program with a wonderful event that brought our school and wider community together.

Last Tuesday, Stars welcomed families, Elders and community members to commemorate the special occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity not only to showcase the space and members' achievements but also to reflect on the journey we have shared over the past year.

The celebration began with Sienna Lyons proudly delivering an Acknowledgement to Country, followed by a heartfelt address from Program Coordinator Vivian Christian. Cadence McDuff and Lylah Borg inspired us all with a beautiful speech highlighting the great things Stars members have participated in- well done girls. While our Principal, Ms Madison, spoke about the positive impact of the program. 

Guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and cake, with plenty of opportunities to connect and yarn about the programs progress.

It was truly a special moment filled with pride, joy and togetherness. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our 12-month anniversary such a memorable success.
