HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA

Happy Birthday Linda

On Saturday 10 October, Linda celebrated a very special milestone birthday.

To help celebrate this wonderful occasion, the whole school joined together at assembly on Monday 12 October to sing Happy Birthday to Linda. It was such a lovely moment, and Linda was absolutely delighted to see so many staff members wearing a touch of pink, her favourite colour, to help make her celebration extra special!

Linda is such a valued and loved principal. She puts so much care, dedication and love into supporting every student at our school, and it was beautiful to see everyone come together to celebrate her. There is no doubt that our students love Linda and appreciate all the wonderful things she does for them each and every day.

Happy 60th birthday, Linda! We hope your special milestone was filled with love, happiness and beautiful memories.

Peaceful Kids

Peaceful Kids has started again for Term 4, with new students joining the groups this term!

During our first sessions, each group did a fantastic job working collaboratively to sort the feelings cards into different categories, based on the ideas and decisions of the group members. It was wonderful to see students sharing their thoughts, listening to one another and engaging in some excellent discussions about feelings and emotions.

I am looking forward to working with our new groups this term as we continue to build emotional awareness, develop positive coping strategies and strengthen the skills needed to support our students’ wellbeing.  - Julie

Respectful Relationships

This term, our Prep students will be exploring Topic 7: Gender and Identity, while students in Years 1–6 will be working on Topic 8: Positive Gender Relations as part of the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships program.

Through age-appropriate lessons and activities, students will explore the importance of respect, inclusion and equality. Prep students will begin to recognise gender stereotypes and understand the importance of respecting individual differences. Students in Years 1–6 will build their understanding of healthy, safe and respectful relationships, including personal boundaries, fairness and accepting diversity.

These lessons support our students to develop empathy, build positive relationships and contribute to a safe and inclusive school community where everyone feels valued and respected.
