From the Principal

Happy Term 4!
Welcome back everyone for the final term for the year! I can hardly believe we are already in mid October. It seems like only a few days ago and we were starting the year but we are now at the stage where our students are all getting ready to make the transition to the next year level ready for 2027 including moving on to secondary school for our grade 6s.
2027 Intentions
Thank you to the families who have let us know their children will not be with us in 2027. This helps to make things easier for us as we start to set up grades. Families make the decision to change schools for many different reasons, including they have moved houses, there has been a change in family circumstances, religious reasons or sometimes we are no longer the best fit for you and your family. All are valid reasons. We just ask that you let us know you are moving before we hear it from the school your child is transferring to. It will save you some embarrassment when we contact you to confirm your intentions as we will not transfer any data to the new school without verbal permission from you.
I would also encourage you to ask the new school about their transition sessions for new students as even though children can be excited about starting at a new school, there can also be a level of anxiety about their new surroundings. Spending time in their new setting gives them the chance to meet staff and students and makes that first day anxiety a little less.
Parent/Carer Opinion Survey
A HUGE thank you to the 51 parents/carers who took the time to complete the 2026 Parent/Carer Opinion Survey. We were thrilled with the number of parents who completed the survey and even happier with the positive responses. Some quick highlights include:
| * General satisfaction - 96% | * School pride and confidence - 96% |

The Mini Fete is our major fundraiser for the year so we really need your support. While there is lots of talk that 'Education is Free' the reality is this is not the case if we want all the children to have those little extras which make a difference to their learning and wellbeing. Please join us on the day, every cent you spend will make a positive difference for the children at our school.
A sneak peak at some of the fidgets in the Mystery Fidget bag!!
