Max in the Medals

On the final night of the 2024 World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Max Giuliani, won a second silver medal. He posted an Oceania and national record with a time of one minute and 40.36 seconds to finish runner-up to American Luke Hobson in the men's 200m freestyle final. Hobson set a new world record of 1:38.61.
Earlier in the meet, Max had gained a silver in swimming the lead leg of the 4 x 200m relay – his time for the leg was a personal best.
