Stage 3 PSSA Soccer
Our Stage 3 soccer teams competed against Cherrybrook Public School in an exciting round of PSSA matches. The girls' team secured an impressive 2–1 victory, while the boys' team fought hard but were defeated 5–2.
Congratulations to our Players of the Match, Belissa and Jake. Belissa was recognised for making six crucial saves to help maintain the team's momentum, while Jake was recognised for scoring a fantastic goal as a centre-back.
Well done to all our students for demonstrating teamwork, sportsmanship and resilience throughout their matches!
Roselea Cup Table Update
The Roselea Cup competition is currently very close, with Oxley and Flinders both sitting on 6 points at the top of the table. Oxley is currently in first place with a goal difference of +4, while Flinders is in second place with a goal difference of +1.
Cook and Sturt are also closely matched, with both houses on 3 points. Cook is currently in third place, while Sturt sits in fourth place.
With the competition still wide open, every upcoming game will be important as the houses continue to battle for the Roselea Cup!
