Grade Prep Report

We have had a fantastic start to the term, and it has been a pleasure to welcome our prep students back. 

They have returned eager to learn and happy to reconnect with their friends. The children have enjoyed sharing their holiday experiences, talking about their adventures, and settling back into classroom routines.

During our writing sessions, students used their holiday experiences as inspiration for their writing. They planned and illustrated their ideas before writing about special moments, places they visited, and activities they enjoyed with their families. It has been wonderful to see students applying their knowledge of sounds and letters to write words, attempting simple sentences, and building confidence in expressing their ideas. 

We are proud of the persistence, creativity, and growing independence they have demonstrated and look forward to seeing their writing skills continue to strengthen throughout the year.
