Wellbeing Report

Welcome back to school, it has been a pleasure seeing all of the smiling faces.
This year we are excited to commence the year with our Berry Street training front of mind when setting up our classrooms, routines and approaches to teaching and learning.
This term in Wellbeing we will be focusing on Emotional Literacy, as well as Personal and Cultural Strengths.
Students have been exploring the term “wellbeing” and the ways in which they can apply strategies to maintain their wellbeing in the classroom. Each student has created their own Ready to Learn Plan which will assist them when they are feeling dysregulated.
This year we have also introduced weekly gratitude journals.
I am happy to share with you some of our week 1 gratitude.
Luna- I am grateful for my great family, school and the world.
Jake- I am grateful for my comfy bed, my home and having a bike.
Will E- I am grateful for history and school, being redwood house captain, and my family.
Kyrro- I am grateful for my Lego set, bike and my school.
Lilly B- I am grateful for being at this school, having nice friends, having a loving family, and sleep.
