Thank you so much for returning all the Camp forms and payments. We are getting excited!

We will have a visit from one of the Camp staff members in a few weeks time to share the program with our students and answer some questions.

These last few weeks of Maths have been about revising previously taught strategies for addition and subtraction, and multiplication.

We love seeing the light bulb moment as our students remember previous learning!

In Reading and Writing, we have been studying and writing in similar styles.

Last week we read a variety of diary entries, and looked at the structure and features of these texts. We created fabulous diary entries as though we were a convict onboard a First Fleet ship.

This week we have read and written persuasive texts. Again we looked closely at the features of these texts, and then put these into practise by defending or prosecuting the Fox from 'The Gingerbread Man'. Was he guilty of eating the Gingerbread Man, or was it all an unfortunate accident?!

Our toy boat designs are coming along well in Design Technologies, and we have considered some ethical dilemmas in regards to the First Fleet and our Ethical Capabilities curriculum.
