A Message from the
Acting Principal
Mr Steven Belcastro
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
We have begun the enrolment process for 2027. Interviews will commence next week. If you have a child who will be ready for Kindergarten next year, please ensure that you have visited the school website and completed the enrolment form in Compass. You can enquire at the office if you need any help. If you know of any friends who are looking to enrol a child for 2027, please let them know that they need to get their enrolment application in promptly.
We are blessed to have so much to celebrate this week. On Tuesday we celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Our Catholic faith in Australia has much to thank the Irish for, as does our St. Martha's parish. Our mufti day on Tuesday raised $380 for the P&F. Today we have not only people who came from Ireland, but a rich and diverse multi-cultural community. Thank you for your continued support of their efforts!
On Friday we will celebrate Harmony Day. Our school is a wonderful example of how people from many different backgrounds can work together in a common endeavour. Our school values each individual and the contribution they make to build a strong and cohesive Catholic community.
Let us pray, as we celebrate this week, that we will let the light of Christ shine in us, showing kindness and generosity to all those in need and remembering that in this Lenten Season we are called to be generous in giving our time to God.
