District – Division Swimming 

On Thursday, the 5th of March, 26 students from Oatlands PS competed at the Edwin Flack District Swimming Competition at Warragul Leisure Centre. We had a very successful day at the pool, with lots of students placing in events. We had 5 out of 8 of our relay teams progress to the Casey North Division, and 8 students are competing in individual events. 

Congratulations to the following students who have progressed to the next stage of competition. We wish them the best of luck!

Active April

Next Monday, the 23rd of March, students will be able to walk/jog laps of the soccer fields behind the football oval as part of the Active April Government Initiative to increase physical activity levels for the month of April. This opportunity will run for the remainder of Term 2. We hope to see lots of students there!

Cross Country 

Next term OPS will host our annual cross-country event for students in grades 3-6 on Monday the 27th of April (Term 2, week 2). The event will run between 9am -12pm. Gr 4/5/6 students will compete in the morning session, and Gr 3 students will compete straight after recess. Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on our students.
