We've launched into Term 3 at full speed, with our students already embracing exciting new learning opportunities.
This week, we are thrilled to welcome the RoboGals Melbourne team from the University of Melbourne, who are delivering workshops for our Year 3–6 students. RoboGals Melbourne is a student-run volunteer initiative that aims to inspire, engage and empower young women to explore engineering and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through fun, hands-on learning experiences.
Using LEGO® SPIKE Prime robots, students are learning to design, build and program robots while developing valuable skills in coding, problem-solving, creativity and teamwork. The workshops encourage students to think like engineers, tackle real-world challenges and discover the exciting possibilities that STEM can offer.
