Art Show
November 2025
A highlight of the school year was our annual Mullauna Art Exhibition, which opened on Thursday, October 9. The Performing Arts Centre was transformed into a vibrant gallery showcasing exceptional VCE Visual Arts folios alongside a stunning display of creative works from our junior and middle years. Even our talented Mullauna staff joined in, proudly exhibiting their own artworks.
Opening night drew a large crowd of families, friends, and community members who came together to celebrate the creativity and dedication of our students.
Congratulations to our VCE Principal Award recipients for their outstanding artistic achievements:
In continued recognition of excellence in the Visual Arts, Mr Ray McLeod-Dryden from the Rotary Club of Box Hill Burwood generously presented five students with certificates and a $100 prize each:Jessynta Blake (Year 11), Caitlin Reed (Year 11), Charlotte Pepper (Year 10), Aris Zouglakis (Year 11) and Sienna Smith (Year 12).
Our guest speaker, Moses Tan—educator, photographer, and graphic artist—officially opened the exhibition with an engaging and inspiring talk about his creative journey. Over the following three days, more than 300 students from local primary schools, along with many Mullauna classes, toured the exhibition.
It was wonderful to see such strong community support, with so many families and friends attending to celebrate the event.
A huge thank you to all the staff who helped make the exhibition possible, and special thanks to our dedicated Visual Arts team: Jess Anderson, Jacquie Brush, Paula Waller, and Anthony Cotton.
The exhibition was a great success, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s Art Show in Week 1, Term 4—make sure to pop it in your diary!
