Seussical Kids
Performances will be held on the evenings of Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th of September, 2025 at St. Bede’s College.
All students from Prep-Yr 6 will be performing!
Tickets are now available to purchase through CDF pay. Please only purchase a total of 4 tickets per family over the 2 evenings to ensure everyone can purchase tickets as seats are limited. We will open them up in a week or so, so families can purchase more if there is availability.
Our production of Seussical Kids, the musical will be upon us very soon. The excitement is building and the rehearsals are coming along well.
Hopefully you have all seen the costume details sent out on nForma (notices tab) at the end of last term and have costumes ready to go, clearly named, including shoes. Here are the details of the upcoming dress rehearsals.
Please take note of the following dates and requirements.
Tuesday 9th September 9:30-11am Costume check & Dress rehearsal at school
Students wear their costume to school and bring their sports uniform in a named bag & change at school afterwards
Tuesday 16th September 9:30-11am Dress rehearsal at school
Students wear their costume to school and bring their sports uniform in a named bag & change at school afterwards
Wednesday 17th September 9am-2pm Dress/Tech rehearsal at St Bede’s -all students bussed there and back. Students wear their costumes to school and bring their named sports uniform and lunch and snacks in a named bag.
Wednesday 17th September Evening performance- students arrive in costume to be at St Bede's by 6:30pm and meet their teacher, pick up after the performance will be around 8pm
Thursday 18th September 7pm Evening performance-students arrive in costume to be there by 6:30pm and meet their teacher, pick up after the performance will be around 8pm
Dress rehearsal at St Bede's 17th September
On Wednesday the 17th of September we will have our first full dress and technical rehearsal at St Bede's. All students will meet their teachers on the basketball courts at 8:45am for roll call. Buses will collect the students from Sacred Heart at 9am and travel to St Bede's and pick them up from St Bede's at 2pm and travel back to Sacred Heart. Students will have lunch and snacks at St Bede's and then change into their sports uniform back at school. All costumes will be sent home on Wednesday ready for both performances. Hair and make up requirements will be sent out separately.
Evening performances
All students are expected to be at St Bede's in their costumes by 6:30pm. The lead characters will need to be at St Bedes for make up earlier. A separate communication will be sent to them. Please meet their classroom teacher and ensure they are ticked off the list at drop off and pick up.
