Leadership Team 2025

Ms Rafferty (Deputy): Drives high standards in Teaching and Learning through coaching, mentoring, and leading professional learning. An exemplary educator, she ensures Sacred Heart continues to set the benchmark in the bayside.

Mrs Stroud (Deputy): Has significantly transformed our structured, evidence-informed daily literacy program (the best in the bayside), championing the belief that no child should leave Sacred Heart without strong reading and writing skills. She also coordinates P–6 intervention.

Miss Maloney: Leads faith development across the school community, guiding sacramental and liturgical programs and driving social justice initiatives. Her natural leadership capacity allows her to regularly step into senior leadership with readiness and ease. Look out Miss Rafferty & Mrs Stroud.

Mrs Pennington: Oversees learning diversity, supporting students, staff, and families with adjustments and learning plans while liaising with external services to ensure every child is supported. An invaluable role within our community.

Miss Wood: Our Wellbeing Leader continues to weave her heart across the school, supporting students 1:1, in small groups, or through the Peaceful Kids program, helping them navigate the emotional challenges of primary school. Next year, her role will focus more heavily on mental health. How lucky we are to have her in this capacity.

Miss Bulte: Leads Mathematics P–6, driving curriculum and assessment. We have been thrilled with the increase in engagement through RockStar Maths, weekly extension sessions, and the introduction of Gone Green certificates this year.

Middle Leaders – Miss Prosser (P–2), Mrs McGrath (3–4), Ms Tench (5–6): Continue to lead by example, supporting their teams daily. From organising excursions, camps, and level-based initiatives, these exceptional leaders provide consistent guidance and care to their teams. Let's not forget the outstanding newsletter reports every fortnight capturing their year level news. Are there better reports?
