Welcome to term 3 - Clay time!

I hope you all had a lovely winter break of rest and relexation.

This term, all students will be completing a unit on pottery. Students will learn handbuilding techniques such as slab construction, pinching, coiling and attaching clay. We will spend the first 4 weeks of our art lessons exploring with the clay and refining our techniques before we get stuck into our final pieces which will be glazed and kiln fired.

Poster competition - Yarra Valley and Lilydale Show

I am very pleased to witness such incredible artmaking last term, with over 100 posters heading to the committee for the YVLS for their annual poster competition. There are so many amazing artworks, everyone should be very proud of their work.
