Across this term there have been many exciting moments, and we’d like to take the time to appreciate these memorable moments in this term.
Starting off, the Lara Rugby Academy visited the Indigenous Pacifica team, learning and witnessing first hand the professionalism and skill of pro athletes. On the 5th of August, the girls rugby academy also played Sunshine’s girls under 16s. While they may have lost by a try, their continuous efforts and hard work have not gone unrecognised as they continue to strive and improve after each game and training session they have undergone.
Additionally, interschool sports such as soccer, badminton and volleyball also saw many of our students attending with some even coming out on top for the day against other competing schools.
Academic achievements were recognised as well on the 30th of July when the school held its Mid-Years Honours night. This was a great night to recognise the students’ excellence and commitment in their performance, whether that be academically, musically or athletically.
This term has been full of amazing opportunities for everyone at the school and we hope to only see more of these similar opportunities for the rest of the school year!.
