Goulburn Murray Divisional Secondary Track & Field Championship
Wednesday 9 September represented another massive day on the track and field for Team Cobram AGS, as we finished 3rd in the overall school standings at the secondary GMDSSV Championship.
Many students shone on the day and finished at the pointy end of the Age Champion standings. They were:

From Cobram to England: A Football Experience of a Lifetime
One of our Year 10 students, Cam Harb, is preparing for an exciting soccer experience over the school holidays, travelling to England as part of the Coerver Coaching Academy.
Departing Australia on 29 September, the tour will provide the opportunity for Cam to train with professional and academy coaches at some of England’s leading football clubs, while also testing his skills against a number of English teams.
“I’m most looking forward to training at professional clubs with professional and academy coaches. I’m also really looking forward to playing against English clubs,” Cam said.
The itinerary includes training experiences with the Fowler Academy at Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as visits to iconic venues including Anfield, Old Trafford, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. The group will also attend England’s match against Czechia at Wembley Stadium.
From a development perspective, Cam is particularly interested in experiencing the different pace and style of English football.
“I’m hoping to understand how other countries play and train, and improve the time it takes me to make a decision, because over there I won’t have much time,” he said.
Cam's place on the tour was earned through his performances at the annual Coerver Asia-Pacific Camp in Canberra, where he was selected among the top 16 players in the 15/16 boys age group. This will be his fourth international trip with Coerver Coaching, having previously travelled to Japan twice and Spain.
