Year 12 Report

Our Year 12 students have made a positive and energetic start to the year, taking part in a variety of academic and extracurricular experiences. Highlights so far have included the VCE Camp, a further Elevate study session, the VCE VM Amazing Race incursion and the Speak and Share seminars. While the House Swimming Sports were unfortunately cancelled, students embraced the day by dressing up, parading around the school and participating in ‘Fashions by the School’.

Students have also commenced their assessment tasks, including Evidence of Learning (EoLs), SACs (VCE) and ALATs (VCE VM). These opportunities support academic progress while also building teamwork, creativity and preparation for future pathways.

We have been very pleased with the attitude and effort shown by our Year 12 students across all aspects of College life. As our senior leaders, they play an important role in modelling positive behaviour, strong attendance, pride in uniform and the consistent demonstration of our College values. It has been wonderful to see them wearing their Year 12 polos and varsity jackets with pride.

A few reminders for families:

  • Socks must be plain black or white with no logos.

  • If students are absent or late, appropriate documentation (e.g. a medical certificate) should be submitted as soon as they return to school.

  • Mobile phones should not be used or carried by students between 9.00 am and 3.10 pm.

Lateness and misuse of phones will be a focus for Year 12 for the remainder of the term.

The photos below capture some memorable moments from these events.
