Year 11 Business Management

VIC Market and China Town Excursion

Student Reflections

We hopped on the bus, all excited to go on our tour of the Queen Victorian Market with our amazing teacher Mrs Payze. We learnt about Bruce's sock store and how he, like a lot of others at the Queen Vic Market, have continued their store and inherited it from his parents. He's continuing to make special socks with clean custom designs for everyone who walks by. He's taken into account the tourism that the Queen Vic Market gets, and made some memorable Australian designs that all people can enjoy. We tried samples here and there, looked through the butchers and cheese stores and had a good time with our class.

We pulled up at Queen Victoria Market at 10am on the dot, to the amazing spanking gorgeous weather of glorious Melbourne. It was a blast of a day. And the boys where ready to play. The city was bustling, the market was hustling and the boys were barking all day. The tour of the market was great, but the rich kangaroo taste testing topped it all off. The Roo was too good, to be true. HSP’s on top, they can't be stopped. Thanks to Mrs Payze for taking us all day, we are truly full of praise.
