Curriculum Day Friday 17 July

A Curriculum day has been scheduled for Friday 17 July, week 1 term 3. Students are not required at school.

Spatzenschule Lunch Order Day - Tuesday 21 July

Year 6 Bake Sale and Coffee Cart

Join us this Friday 26th June from 8am at our Coffee Cart morning. Grab a latte, a delicious home baked treat and mingle with fellow parents. We look forward to seeing you all there! All proceeds from the bake sale go towards the Grade 6 Graduation.

Secondhand Uniform Stall -Friday 26th June

Our Second-hand Uniform Stall will be open this Friday 26th June from 8:30am to 9:15am. Quality pre-loved uniforms available at great prices! Our stock is currently running low, and donations are warmly welcomed. Please drop any items into the school office.

Last day of Term Early Finish 2.30pm

Term 2 concludes on Friday 26 June. Students will be dismissed at 2.30pm. Term 3 commences on Monday 13th July. Have a very happy holiday!

Whole School Assembly

A whole school assembly will be held outside (weather permitting) this Friday 26 June commencing at 9.10am. Citizenship awards will be presented to students from each grade level. Parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend.

Lets Celebrate Everything French!

It's French Day at TPS on Tuesday 14th July. Come dressed in your French colours – blue, white and red, or a French-inspired outfit. A prize will be awarded for thebest French dress-up in each year level. Students will also enjoy a special incursion by the French Circus School, and french activities designed by grade 6 students. A big thank you to all families who have ordered crêpes, madeleines and galettes for French Day. Orders have now closed. We look forward to a wonderful French Day celebration!

Please note that on French Day, the crêpes are not intended to replace students' lunch. All students should still bring their own lunch as usual. Due to the event timetable, we cannot guarantee that your child will receive their crêpe before lunchtime.

Managing Big Feelings - Theirs and Ours

Caulfield Junior College are thrilled to be welcoming Gen Muir — parent educator, author, TEDx speaker and mum of four boys — to Glen Eira for a free parenting presentation focused on managing big feelings, both theirs and ours.

FREE Come and Try Hockey Sessions for all ages at TPS

MCC Hockey are looking for new players for their Term 3 Competitions. Come along and try sessions for all ages interested in playing a new sport.

Art Smock:

Purchase your child's Art smock today on QKR for $20. Orders close Tuesday 1st September (suitable for children aged 5–10 years). Children will decorate their smock with paint pens in a special art class.

Paint and Sip Session 2

Parents, unleash your inner artist with a Paint and Sip session.

Date: 21st of August

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Location : Art room

Cost : $60 on QKR

Instructing artist: Fiona Tweddle- The HAPPI project. Session includes:

• A canvas to create on.

• The use of acrylic paint, paint brushes and an easel.

• The serving of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages with nibbles for the first hour.

Please note: this is an adult only event.

Art Raffle Donations- Can you help?

We are calling for donations of any new or unused art resources for our upcoming Art Raffle. Donations can be dropped off at the school office prior to the end of term.

All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the purchase of a new kiln for our Art Room. Thank you for your support!

ICAS - YEAR 2 to 6 Registration Now Open

ICAS is a globally recognised academic competition for school students.

TPS is offering assessments to Year 2-6 students in Mathematics, English and Science at a cost of $22 per subject. The tests will fall in school hours between the following dates (exact date TBC) -

English: 7 Aug – 14 Aug
Mathematics: 21 Aug – 28 Aug
Science: 14 Aug – 21 Aug

Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships 2026

Toorak Primary students are encouraged to get involved in this year’s Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships — a fantastic opportunity for kids of all ages and abilities to represent the school, build confidence, and have a lot of fun on the mountain.

Events include skiing and snowboarding across a range of disciplines and experience levels.
