Instrumental Music Performance Night

On Monday 22nd June, we hosted an audience of family and friends for our Semester One Instrumental Music Performance Night. The performances were a celebration of our students' musical talents, hard work and dedication. Students from across the year levels performed musical works ranging from classic rock, to rap, to vocal ballads, to a five-piece drum march with luminescent drumsticks. Congratulations to all the performers on a fantastic night of music!

Western Metropolitan Region Cross Country Championships

It was a pleasure attending the Western Metropolitan Region Cross Country Championships on June 15th with this group of students. All students represented Western Heights College exceptionally well. They were polite, well-mannered, supportive of their teammates, kept our area clean, and followed all instructions throughout the day. Their behaviour and sportsmanship were outstanding, and all three staff members thoroughly enjoyed attending the event with them.

Congratulations to every student on their performance and effort. Whether you achieved a personal best, contributed to a team result, or simply gave your best effort, you should be very proud of your achievement. 

Our U13 Girls team and our U13 boys team won their division and our U15 boys team came second in their division!

The following students have qualified for the State Cross Country event at Yarra Glen on July 16th. Victory Passes!

2026 sees the introduction of Victory Passes into our WHC community! Students who display exceptional levels of our College Values; Responsibility, Inclusion & Courage will be granted a Victory Pass! Victory Passes are to be delivered by students to the front Administration office, where they will be entered into a fortnightly draw.

Prizes:

Each Fortnight 2 x passes will be drawn out of each sub-school, with canteen prizes for the winners.

Each Month, the Homegroup with the highest number of passes will receive a special lunch.

Each Term, students with the highest number of passes will be entered into a Major Draw!
